When to seek emergency care in person

As a mom of twins, I know you want to keep your family safe. Telehealth is great, but some things need an ER or an in-person visit:

  • Chest pain or difficulty breathing.

  • Severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis).

  • High fevers that won't break or seizures.

  • Deep lacerations requiring stitches.

  • Suspected broken bones or head injuries with loss of consciousness
