When to seek emergency care in person
As a mom of twins, I know you want to keep your family safe. Telehealth is great, but some things need an ER or an in-person visit:
-
Chest pain or difficulty breathing.
-
Severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis).
-
High fevers that won't break or seizures.
-
Deep lacerations requiring stitches.
-
Suspected broken bones or head injuries with loss of consciousness
